Join Agricultural Missions International (AMI) for an immersive 12-day site visit to Sierra Leone and Liberia—an opportunity to learn directly from rural communities, engage with local partners, experience cultural exchange, and better understand the realities, opportunities, and challenges of community-led development.
This journey is designed around relationship-building, ethical engagement, and mutual learning. Participants will travel alongside AMI partners and community members to explore what sustainable development looks like when communities lead the conversation.
Throughout the visit, participants will engage in Monitoring, Evaluation, and Learning (MEL) activities that help AMI and partners better understand program impact, strengthen future programming, and ensure that community voices guide the work ahead.
Each evening, participants will gather for a “Learning Circle”—a facilitated reflection and dialogue space to share observations, ask questions, process experiences, and discuss ethical considerations in international development. These conversations create space to examine our assumptions, celebrate lessons learned, and reflect on how we can continue to support community-led solutions with humility and accountability.
