The West Africa Site Visit is a 12-day immersion journey across Sierra Leone and Liberia, where participants meet rural women farmers, youth cooperatives, and community organizers who are building food sovereignty and economic justice from the ground up.
- Community-led development visits with farmer cooperatives and youth groups
- Learning exchanges on food systems, gender justice, and rural organizing
- Hosted meals, marketplace visits, and cultural exchanges

Trip Cost and What’s Included
Trip Cost: $7,000 per participant
This amount covers all in-country expenses for the 12-day journey, including lodging, meals, local transportation, and coordination across Sierra Leone and Liberia. Participants are responsible for their round-trip international airfare and visa fees
Tax Deductibility: Any amount contributed above the actual $7,000 trip expenses is a 100% tax-deductible charitable contribution directly supporting AMI’s ongoing programs with rural women farmers, youth leaders, and community partners across West Africa.
Last day to RSVP: February 9, 2026. This was calculated in order to give participants 4 weeks to acquire Visas for both countries. However, this can be internally modified, depending on date. Please contact us at sabrina@sdizconsulting.com or wcarroo@ag-missions.org for more information.
